High-level window cleaning with demineralised water

High-level window cleaning with demineralised water is a way to get clean glass in places that are hard to reach by ordinary methods: on upper floors, in stairwell glazing, shop windows, skylights and glass façades. The service is intended for offices, shops, residential communities, service premises and houses with large glazed areas.

We work in Warsaw and the Mazovia region, in a permanent, trained team. We clean with demineralised water, i.e. water purified of the minerals that leave spots and limescale when they dry. As a result, glass and frames dry without streaks, and once the work is finished we check the result across the whole surface.

How does window cleaning with demineralised water work?

Ordinary tap water contains dissolved minerals. When the glass dries, the minerals stay on the surface as spots and streaks, which is why in traditional cleaning the glass has to be carefully squeegeed and wiped. Demineralised water contains none of these compounds, so it evaporates without a trace. We loosen and wash off the dirt with a brush, then rinse the glass and frame with pure water that leaves no residue when it dries.

We usually work from the ground, using telescopic poles with a brush through which the water is fed. This makes it possible to clean high windows without entering the premises and without setting up ladders at every window. How we reach particular glazing and the extent of the work are agreed after an inspection or based on photos of the building.

What do you gain with this method?

Feature of the method What it gives in practice
Mineral-free water glass dries without streaks, spots or water marks
Working from the ground high windows cleaned without entering offices or flats
Glass and frames cleaned together clean profiles, outer sills and frames, not just the glass
No detergent left on the glass no film of product on the surface for dust to stick to

Where do we carry out high-level window cleaning?

The method works wherever there is a lot of glazing or it is hard to reach. We most often clean this way:

  • windows of office and service buildings
  • shop windows and glazing of retail and commercial premises
  • stairwell windows and common areas of residential buildings
  • glass façades, skylights and canopies
  • large glazed areas in detached houses, conservatories and mezzanines

In office buildings, window cleaning complements regular office cleaning, and in residential buildings residential community cleaning carried out to a fixed schedule.

How is the service carried out step by step?

  • 1. inspecting the building or reviewing photos, agreeing the scope and how to reach the glazing
  • 2. agreeing the date and securing the work area near entrances and footpaths
  • 3. loosening and washing dirt off the glass, frames and outer sills with a brush
  • 4. rinsing with demineralised water, which runs off and dries without residue
  • 5. checking the result once dry and making any touch-ups

We plan the work to disturb the building's users as little as possible. In offices and shops we can clean before opening or after closing, and in residential communities on a date the property manager passes on to residents.

How often should high windows be cleaned?

The frequency depends on the building's location, street traffic, dust from nearby construction sites and expectations regarding appearance. Shop windows usually need more frequent cleaning, while windows of office and residential buildings are most often cleaned seasonally, e.g. in spring and autumn. With regular cooperation we agree a schedule that keeps the windows clean all year round.

Why entrust window cleaning to a permanent team?

We work with a permanent team, coordinated by a dedicated supervisor and covered by third-party liability insurance. The team gets to know the building over successive jobs, so the work runs more smoothly and the result is consistent.

The price depends on the number and size of the glazed areas, the height, access to the windows and how dirty they are. To prepare a quote, please send us photos of the façade and windows and a short description of the building via the quote form.

FAQ

1. Do you use detergents?

The basis is demineralised water. With heavy dirt we loosen it with a brush and rinse everything with pure water, so no layer of cleaning product is left on the glass.

2. Do you need access to the rooms?

Usually not. We clean the windows from the outside, most often from the ground. If cleaning from the inside is also needed, we agree it separately.

3. Can windows be cleaned in the rain?

Light rain is usually not a problem, because the glass is already clean and rinsed with mineral-free water. In a downpour, strong wind or frost we move the date.

4. What information is needed for a quote?

Photos of the façade and windows, the approximate number of glazed areas, the height of the building and its address.
